My career in the field of Decorative Arts began as a photo stylist for Sunset Magazine, where I styled and “Staged” photographs of architectural interiors, gardens, and food, including styling/Staging all of the Sunset Magazine American Institute of Architects Award- winning homes. I then progressed to food stylist, photo editor and writer for Sunset Books, where I wrote 3 books and produced 28 cookbooks and numerous craft, garden and interior design books.

My work has also appeared in Bon Appétit Magazine, Romantic Homes Magazine, the San José Mercury News, as well as on Home & Garden Television, the TV Food Network, KOCE television and numerous infomercials.

My passion for travel has taken me to Italy, France, Belgium, England, Northern Ireland, Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and China. Within those incredibly diverse regional cultures, I observed and marveled at the continuity of design themes and color palettes around the world. I was fortunate to bring back a bit of the aesthetic from each culture to enhance my design repertoire.

After completing an extensive course on preparing homes for sale, I  received accreditation as a Home Staging Professional. I was founding Vice-President and then Membership Chair of the Orange County chapter of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals. I faithfully adhere to the Accredited Staging Professional Code of Ethics and work to bring credit to the ASP Designation through my honesty and integrity and by honoring my clients and their possessions.

At LBR Design Group it is our philosophy to treat each Staging project as a unique "jewel" to be appreciated by a potential buyer.

We especially enjoy staging vacant properties, creating a fantasy “stage set” that is enticing to potential buyers, while projecting a warm and inviting “home” ambiance.

The LBR Design Group team of assistants, associates, Staging partners, showrooms and workrooms design and fabricate custom linens and accessories, including pillows, throws, runners, and other accessories.

We enjoy the challenge of creating a personalized presentation for each property using a cohesive color palette and design theme.

LBR Design Group is located in South Orange County, California, where my team and I Stage homes from Newport Beach to San Clemente and beyond.  We also Stage homes in the Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area and are available to travel to any other location requested.
